St. Patrick´s Day - Día de San Patricio

FELIZ DÍA DE SAINT PATRICK
If you want to be lucky at St. Patrick´s Day, there are four options:1. Catch a Leprechaun
2. Kiss Blarney Stone
3. Find a shamrock
4. Dress in green
A Leprechaun is an Irish elf. He lives at the end of the rainbow. He has got a pot full of gold, his treasure. He spends his time making shoes with a hammer. If you follow the sound of the hammer, you may find him. Perhaps, he´ll tell you where his treasure is.
In Blarney castle there is a magic stone. If you kiss it, you will be lucky and you receive the gift of eloquence. But this is very difficult, you have to climb up to the highest tower and bend outside it.
According to Catholic tradition, a shamrock was carried by St. Patrick as the symbol of the Trinity. Of course, finding a four-leaved shamrock gives good luck.
Green is Ireland´s colour. It is related to hope, to nature and to spring. Remember that Ireland is called the Emerald Isle.
Happy St. Patrick´s Day!

-Fuengirola http://www.eoifuengirola.es/
-Marbella http://www.eoimarbella.es/home.htm

In this background, we inform that the application period for vacancies in the Official School of Language is in March.
The Official School of Languages offers two options:
-To enrol as an official student in order to attend lessons regularly (the application period is now in March).
-To enrol just to do the end of year test. This option is called "matrícula libre" or "free enrolment" . The application period is in April, normally.
In our surroundings, there are 3 Official Schools of Languages:
-Fuengirola http://www.eoifuengirola.es/
-Marbella http://www.eoimarbella.es/home.htm
-Málaga http://www.eoimalaga.com/
Each school has a different offer of languages, from Spanish as a Foreign Language to Chinese.
We would like to highlight that the certificates obtained are official, and a proof of the level of communicative competence in the language chosen. As state-assisted centres, the lessons are free (except for some registration taxes).
We consider it may be interesting for our students´future to get a certificate of qualification in their mother tongue or in any other, taking into account that there are different levels (a perfect knowledge is not necessary).
